Stock market falls 777 points!

I sure hope more people catch on to the number that has set the record for the largest fall of the stock market ever. For those who did not hear it was 777. That bring great joy and peace to me for a few reasons. In the bible the lord was in such a need to get the attention of a certain individual that He used a donkey to speak to him. I think in todays age that would not be that big of a deal, but on the other hand since we are such a money driven society why not get our attention that way. It is deffinently us that have got our selves in this situation with buying more than we can afford and greed seting in and allowing people to lend money that should have never been lended in the first place to people who could not even afford it. God is saying look to me in this time for you are not to put your trust or focus on the things of this world that will perish but on the things of Gods kingdom, the eternal things. Money is not of the eternal and when our eyes are on God he makes sure that we do not go with out and that needs to be enough for all of us. I have seen even more now than ever that God is enough and he will provide for our needs, for on our own strength we are unable to take care of our selves or get our selves to Heaven. God may not give us the money we think we need and that is ok, most of the time I can not even figure out what is best for me but after seeing Gods plan for me unfold it all seems to make perfect cense. Wow, to think that all we have to do is focus on him and be obedient to what he has called us to do is not that hard when you think about it. He is going to ask us to do things that scare us or make no sence to us but through him all things are possible and He gives us all we need. Praise Him for He is so good to those who follow him. I have peace in knowing that God is behind all things and when it comes down to it he is enough for me! Where are your eyes focused on, the problem or the solution. It is your choice so I pray you choose to look the right way and ingage in what it is God can do with your life. There are a lot of people out there that need help and a light to follow right now, I pray God would raise up an army right now and send them out to fight for souls in this time were they are dying off at to fast of a pace. Be one of those obedient to Gods calling and watch the blessing come even in this hard time we find our selves in.

Were are serving GOD not man, and HE sees all we do!

The following story came from one of Greg Laurie's newsletters. It is so true that God sees everything we do. We are here to serve God and not man. I hope that you enjoy it!!

A missionary couple who had served for many years in Africa were returning to the United States. Leaving Africa with broken health and no pension, they felt defeated, discouraged, and afraid.

As it turned out, President Teddy Roosevelt was traveling on the same ship. Of course, it caused a great commotion as everyone tried to catch a glimpse of the president, who was returning from a hunting expedition.

The missionary commented to his wife, "Something is wrong. Why should we, who have given our lives in service to the Lord all these years in Africa, come back and not receive any fanfare or attention? And this man, who has done nothing more than just go on a hunting trip, is the center of attention. It just doesn't seem right."

When the ship arrived, a brass band played and the mayor welcomed the president. The missionary was so discouraged. "It isn't fair," he told his wife. "Why have we not received any attention or adulation for what we have done? God is not treating us fairly."

She said, "Honey, why don't you just go tell that to the Lord?" A little bit later, he was smiling. His wife said, "You look different. What happened?"

He said, "Well, I told the Lord how bitter I was that the president received this tremendous homecoming, while no one greeted us when we returned home. Then it seemed as though the Lord put His hand on my shoulder and said, 'Son, you are not home yet.' "

God sees those things you do for Him, and He will bless you. But remember, we are not home yet.

Have a wonderful day! God bless you!

THE CALL GOES OUT?

Hello, I am wondering if there is anyone out there searching on blog spot that is hard core for JESUS CHRIST. I have tried to put as much stuff on here with the very limited time I have and not even one person has emailed. I had one of my frinds post a comment and that was exciting. If anyone out there needs someone to pray with or someone to talk to that is why I have this blog. Also to post fun and exciting things one. Let me know what you think, I am considering just posting videos and information clips. Let me knoqw what you think, do people still like to read or do they just want to watch. What I want to acomplish is a network of soldiers to sharpen each other and to share the Gospel on line to all who will listen, if that appeals to you than lets get connected!

Gods blessings!

I need to take a moment to tell you about the blessing of GOD even though we are going through the fire. I am a real estate agent and have been working with a client who is also a believer. He is an amazing friend to me so this deal meant a lot to the both of us. We had an escrow that has taken us over a 100 days to close and it has been quit the roller coaster along the way. Everything you could imagine that could go wrong except for falling out of escrow happened. Together we learned a whole new side of GOD, each in our own way and in our own experience of the way the transaction happened for us. The bottom line is that GOD is in all things at all times and never try to accomplish anything on your own strength. I have learned to trust whole heartedly in him, and that there is great patients in following Him, and that his love for us is far greater than our minds can ever imagine. These are just a couple things I wanted to share. God worked out everything to my clients best interest and we had no idea how things were going to work out. I like trusting in him for he knows all things and we only know what we see or hear. My client finances to the detail of closing to I cant even tell you how many details that GOD worked out. When it was all said and done all I can say is thank you GOD for loving us so much and caring as much about the things that we need as we do. With out the Lord and prayer I believe this deal would not have come to pass. So I encourage you to stand in GODS strength when going through the fire and lean not on your own understanding for it pleases HIM when we lean on HIM. For GOD our problems are joys that he can help us with, and remember that these trials only make us stronger and closer to our creator. When there is only one set of foot prints in the sand when things are the toughest hold on to the fact that it is GOD carrying you, to me that brings great peace. Hope this is of some help for without GOD I do not know how I could make it through there times. Praise HIM!

I was there with you on 9/11/2001!

A smile to enlighten a tough situation!

Robert Lewis Stevenson told the story of a ship struggling to stay afloat in a storm. The sailors were afraid and one man left his job and went up to the control room to see the captain. There he saw him, with his great strength and keen mind, wrestling to keep the ship from the rocks and steering the ship safely on.

The captain turned and the sailor saw the captain was smiling. The sailor returned to his shipmates and said, "We're all right." But, the others said, "How do you know?" He said, "I've seen the face of the captain and he smiled at me."

There are only two places in the world where there is no hope. One is in hell, because when in hell you've lost hope. The other is in heaven where you don't need hope. As long as God reigns (and He always will), there's hope. We need not be terrified by our adversaries.
Gaze at the face of Jesus, and restore the hope in your life. Always remember: God is still on the throne.
